A conventional single-bay NAS can stream the content to multiple networked PCs, but if you want to watch that content on your HDTV, then you’re back to the same problems as an HTPC. There is no media center solution; it is not integrated with anything but a PC. It lacks a built-in media server to ensure setup is hassle-free. Content must be viewed on a PC.
