After connecting the Helios X3000 to your HDTV, just press the <TV Mode> button on the remote control until you get a clear image on your TV screen. Once you see the player home screen clear, press the <Setup> button to enter the <system> setting. Next, navigate to <video setting> and choose your desirable video mode and video connection method from the drop-down menu and Click <Save>. Finally, click <Setup> again to complete your video setup.
Connecting to your audio equipment
Digital audio output
When connecting to speakers or an amplifier via the optical or coaxial audio output, the Helios X3000 perfectly supports 2 stereo digital channel, Dolby Digital, and DTS audio.
Analogue audio output
Otherwise, when connecting to speakers, a home theatre system or directly to the TV, the Helios X3000 supports 2 channel stereo analog output and 5.1 channel surround audio output.
Connecting to your local area network (LAN) or wireless network
Wired network connection
By connecting the network cable to the port labeled LAN RJ45 at the back of the Helios X3000, it will obtain an IP address automatically as long as your router is DHCP enabled. Alternately, you can set the IP, DNS and Gateway settings manually.
Wireless network connection
After adjusting the network connection to wireless mode in setup, the Helios X3000 can detect the access point automatically. The Helios X3000 supports both WEP and WPA encryption.

Streaming media content from a computer or NAS server
1. NAS Server
If your NAS server supports the UPnP protocol, the Helios X3000 is able to detect and automatically stream all of your media content to it without the need of additional software.
2. Computer streaming
Helio’s NeoLink server application enables you to organize your media files and stream the content into your computer.
NeoLink software is compatible with Windows system, but Mac and Linux version will be available soon.
