Instructions:
Please take note that the firmware upgrade process has certain risks. Please follow the upgrade instruction carefully.
Important - DO NOT POWER OFF the player during upgrade
- Download and save to your computer the latest firmware .RAR file from the link below:
- Extract the downloaded file. It should contain two files - an .IMG file and a .BIN file.
- Put these files on a blank CD-R/RW or DVD-R/+R/RW. The files should not be inside a folder.
- Insert the disc into your DVD player. A message will soon show up on your TV screen asking if you want to proceed with the upgrade.
- Press <Enter> on the remote control to continue with the upgrade. The firmware upgrade will now start. This will take 2 - 3 minutes. (DO NOT POWER OFF THE PLAYER DURING UPGRADE)
- When the status shows 100% and displays the screenshot below, the DVD tray will automatically be ejected. Remove the disk and close the DVD tray.
- Switch off the player by using the power switch at the back of the player.
- Switch on the player.
Firmware upgrade is done.
Note,
All user settings including Video Mode will be set to default after upgrade. |
